'Listening Ear' Drop-In Sessions - Every Wednesday During the Holiday

Listening ear poster summer 19Come to our 'Listening Ear' drop-in sessions, open to all families and students (primary, secondary and Sixth Form), every Wednesday (9am to 1pm), from 31st July until 28th August 2019.

It means we're OPEN during the Summer holidays, if you need to speak to someone. Come along and meet some staff for support, a chat and maybe a cup of tea!

"The idea is that we have staff on hand to support our students and their families throughout the summer holidays," says Julie McMahon, Welfare Officer. "This is a safe place for anyone to access support or just have a chat if they are feeling a bit isolated maybe. We will have an experienced member of staff who can support them. We are able to make calls to our partner agencies too, if needed."

If you've a son or daughter starting here in September please do feel free to come along and have a chat. We will have a friendly welcome space and we'd love to get to know our new parents and carers.

"We're the first school in the area to open in this way over the summer but we feel it is definitely needed at the school and within this area," says Ms McMahon.

The project is based in our secondary building so please do drop in.
