Wellbeing Ambassadors Support Primary Students
Our six Wellbeing Ambassadors from the secondary school visited the primary phase yesterday to talk to younger students about wellbeing and mental health.
The ambassadors – Kai, Amandeep, Ruby, Mia, Kimari and Sonnie – let the younger children know that they could help with any wellbeing issues either now or when they moved up to the secondary school in September.
Sonnie, in particular, said they she would look out for them and hoped to see them again when they started secondary school.
“The children spoke about various things and our new Wellbeing Ambassadors used their listening skills and promoted themselves very well,” said Ms McMahon. “The staff in our primary phase really appreciated their visit too.”
Kai, Amandeep, Rubie, Mia, Kimari and Sonnie (pictured below) are our Wellbeing Ambassadors for the secondary phase at Harris Garrard Academy. All six have completed three hours of training with Pascale Berthellet, Public Health Advisor for Children and Young People in Bexley.
