Ben Sheppard
Head of Primary
With over a decade of experience in primary education with Harris Federation, Ben Sheppard has been working on developing exceptional centres of education in London for most of his career. Passionate about transforming lives and making sure every student is given the tools to achieve, he has been at Harris Garrard for over six years, firstly as Vice Principal before leading the primary school through its last Ofsted.
Before working in leadership, Ben was predominantly a teacher of Year 6 and worked to support students in achieving the very best in outcomes in inner city schools. He has a passion for history from his degree as well as a love for rugby and mountaineering when he's not in his favourite place: school!
With qualifications including the National Professional Qualification in Headship and a Lead Coach for headteachers in the national programme, Ben is passionate about sharing best practice and the development of his superb team.
