Exceptional Ofsted Outcome
We are delighted to share with you the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection.
Since our previous inspection, when we were rated Good across all areas, Ofsted has changed both its inspection framework and the way it reports outcomes to parents through the introduction of the new Report Card system.
This system replaces the previous overall judgement and provides a more detailed picture of a school's strengths. It also introduces a new highest 'Exceptional' category, allowing schools to be recognised for performance beyond the former Outstanding judgement.
Of the first 1,000 schools inspected under the new framework, resulting in approximately 9,000 individual judgements, only 66 Exceptional grades have been awarded. We are proud to have secured three of them.
- Curriculum and Teaching – Exceptional
- Early Years – Exceptional
- Personal Development and Wellbeing – Exceptional
- Achievement – Strong
- Attendance and behaviour – Strong
- Inclusion – Strong
- Leadership and Governance – Strong
- Post-16 Provision – Expected Standard

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our dedicated staff, whose unwavering commitment to our students has made this outcome possible. We would also like to thank our parents, carers, governors and wider community for their continued support.
To be recognised amongst the very best schools in the country is a tremendous achievement, and we look forward to sharing our expertise with other schools whilst continuing to serve and support our community.
