Meet the Head of Secondary

HGA 2024 Day2 044

Our academy is characterised by the highest expectations of conduct and achievement for all.

We instil in all members of the academy community an uncompromising expectation that they aim for nothing less than excellence.

The academy is a happy and caring environment, but one in which academic achievement remains an unrelenting focus. We are a values driven school and believe in respect, resilience and rigour.

Our students take pride in their work and are enthusiastic about learning. Through both the formal and informal curriculum, they practise the habits of learning and develop good character.

At Harris Garrard, we are rightly proud of the achievements of our students. Students thrive academically and socially, as they develop their skills and knowledge to become successful and caring citizens. We stand firm in our belief that ‘Learning Changes Lives,’ and this ethos underpins the work we do.

Students will relish their time at the academy and, when the time comes, will leave ready and eager to lead their lives as effective, well-rounded and responsible citizens carrying the ‘Master Key’ to unlock any door in their future.
