Meet the Head of Primary

Welcome to the Primary Phase of Harris Garrard Academy where we offer an incredible provision for our youngest students.

No matter their starting point, my caring, warm and experienced team support each child as they take their first steps in formal education.

Students feel special and through outstanding outcomes and enrichment opportunities, they are able to go on to achieve whatever they set their mind to. Our mantra here is: background does not determine destiny and this embodies everything we do here at HGA. 

We pride ourselves on building confident, articulate and resilient students with a love for reading and a genuine excitement to learn something new. As part of an all-though academy, we are able to take advantage of specialist teaching in subjects such as art, sport and languages which means that students are taught by subject specialists from a young age.

Combined with a primary science lab, a computing suite, the opportunity to learn an instrument and a co-curriculum and enrichment programme tailored to every year group, we provide the very best start of our students.
