Business & Enterprise

We believe our curriculum has the power to transform lives by equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in education and beyond.

Through our Business and Economics pathways, students gain practical and analytical expertise that opens doors to a wide range of careers, including roles such as business owner, accountant, HR manager, marketing executive, economist, lawyer, and many more.

At Key Stages 4 and 5, students can choose between an academic route (GCSE and A Level) or a vocational pathway (Tech Award and BTEC National), ensuring they follow a curriculum tailored to their strengths and aspirations. The academic pathway builds strong foundations in business concepts and economic theory, preparing students for further study and careers requiring critical thinking and problem-solving.

The vocational pathway emphasises applied learning, giving students hands-on experience in enterprise, marketing, finance, and leadership through real-world projects and educational visits.

Both routes develop transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, and analysis, ensuring students are ready for higher education or employment in diverse sectors including business management, finance, public services, law, and marketing.
