We recently hosted our last Project Thamesmead event of the year. Focusing on the Olympics with running, throwing and jumping events. It gave over 110 children from 3 primary schools the opportunity to represent their school and excel!

🌿✍️ Poetry meets nature! Guided by poet and educator Esme Allman, students explored the Conservatory  through a creative lens. Through metaphors, descriptive language, they crafted their own eco-poems—blending art and nature in a truly inspiring workshop. 🌱📖

Open Evening

Join us for our HGA sixth form open evening on Tuesday 25th November, 5 to 7pm.

Come along to our information talks at 5:30pm and 6:15pm to discover what makes Harris Garrard Academy Sixth Form unique. You’ll also have the chance to meet our expert subject teachers and hear from our current students about their experiences and success stories.

You are guaranteed a place in our Sixth Form if you meet the entry criteria. Completing an application helps us plan our curriculum and ensure the right courses are available for you. Applications open on Tuesday 25th November.

Students in Year 11 at schools other than Harris Garrard Academy

Each year, we’re proud to welcome a number of external students who join our vibrant and supportive Sixth Form community. Places for external applicants are offered in line with our admissions criteria, which can be found at the bottom of this page. Applications open on Tuesday 25th November.

Applications will open on Tuesday 25th November and close in January 16th 2026. Full details, including the application form and admissions criteria, will be published here closer to the opening date.
