We recently hosted our last Project Thamesmead event of the year. Focusing on the Olympics with running, throwing and jumping events. It gave over 110 children from 3 primary schools the opportunity to represent their school and excel!

Six Students' Poems in New 'Poetry Games' Anthology

Poetry GamesSix of our students have been selected to have their poems published in the new The Poetry Games: Truth or Dare anthology.

Thousands of students up and down the country entered The Poetry Games: Truth or Dare? competition last term. Students had to select either 'Team Truth' or 'Team Dare' and write a poem in keeping with that theme about their hopes or fears. Here are the students whose poems have been selected.

Poetry anthology names

The poetry anthology is due to be published over Easter and should arrive in school in April. There will be a copy of the book available in the school library.

Stranger Sagas competition

If you would like to see your own work published why not enter the new Stranger Sagas competition inspired by Stranger Things. You can find out more details about the competition here. Please see Miss Bywater for an entry form if you would like to enter.
